Some things are better said slowly, on paper, through the mail.

The Letter Circle is a quiet monthly subscription.

Why I started this

There’s something I’ve noticed over the years of writing Homespun Seasonal Living: the emails that get the most replies aren’t the ones with the best recipes or the most beautiful photos. They’re the ones where I just… talk. About the season. About what’s hard. About what I’m noticing out the window.

I’ve been thinking for a long time about creating a space that’s smaller and slower. Not a blog post. Not a broadcast. Something more like a letter.

The Letter Circle is that space.

Once a month, you’ll get a private email — the kind I’d write to a friend, not an audience. And once a month, something will arrive in your actual mailbox. Something small and handmade and seasonal. A recipe on a notecard. A pressed flower. A handful of seeds. Nothing fancy. Just something real, from my hands to yours.

I live in Columbia Falls, Montana, surrounded by mountains and seasons that move slowly. This subscription is an extension of that pace. It’s for people who want to slow down a little too.

What you’ll receive

Every month, two things:

A private email (arrives the second Monday of each month): Not a newsletter. Not content. A real letter — personal, seasonal, and honest. The kind of thing I’d write to a close friend about what’s growing, what I’m making, what I’m thinking about. Replies are welcome. I read them.

Something in your mailbox (sent the third Monday of each month): A small physical piece, sent from Montana. Each one is tied to the season and chosen with care. Not highly designed or packaged — just warm and real.

Here’s a peek at what’s planned for the year ahead:

  • May: Herb bottle gift tags
  • June: A note from me
  • July: A pressed flower
  • August: A photo or postcard
  • September: Empty seed packets
  • October: A bread recipe
  • November: A journal prompt from me
  • December: Something from my hands
  • January: A soup recipe
  • February: Blank bookmarks to decorate
  • March: Small seeds
  • April: A note from me

A founding member invitation

I’m opening The Letter Circle first — and only — to the people already here. No big launch. No ads. Just an invitation to the folks who already know what Homespun Seasonal Living is about.

Founding member price: $60/year
Regular price after the founding window closes: $72/year

The founding window is open for a limited time and limited to the first 75 members. After that, the price goes to $72 and this offer goes away.

If this sounds like something you’ve been quietly wanting — a real letter, something in the mail, a slower kind of connection — this is the moment.

Billed annually.

A few questions, answered

When does it start? The first email & physical mailing go out in May 2026. Private emails begin the second Monday of the month you join.

Is this the same as The Seasonal Whisper? No — The Seasonal Whisper is a quarterly subscription with a more curated, designed feel. The Letter Circle is monthly and much more personal in tone. Think of Seasonal Whisper as a lovely quarterly package; The Letter Circle is more like ongoing correspondence with a friend.

What if I’m already a Seasonal Whisper subscriber? You’re very welcome here too. They’re different enough that many people will enjoy both — but there’s no pressure. This is its own thing.

Do you ship internationally? Not at this time.

Can I give this as a gift? Not yet set up for gifting, but it’s on my list. If you’d like to gift a membership, email me directly and I’ll make it work.

What if I want to cancel? You can cancel before your renewal date and you won’t be charged again. No hassle.

Will the price stay at $72 forever? I expect it will stay there for a good long while. I’m not in the business of surprise price increases.

Some connections are worth slowing down for.

If you’ve made it this far, I think you already know if this is for you. The Letter Circle is small on purpose. It’s personal on purpose.
I hope to write to you soon.
