Warm Cabbage and Apple Salad with Hazelnuts

As we approach spring, I’m craving more salads and less soups. The weather is still a little on the chilly side, however; meaning warmer foods are still more desired. This warm cabbage and apple salad with hazelnuts satisfies both cravings with its warm greens and crunchy texture.

This dish is super tasty in the fall when the cabbage and apple harvest is the freshest, however; it’s also a great way to use up cabbage and apples that have been in cold storage since fall (or pick-up those cabbages on sale for St. Patrick’s Day).

Warm Cabbage and Apple Salad with Hazelnuts is a hearty and healthy dish with just a touch of natural sweetness and plenty of crunch.
